I think this tutorial applies to the blog and our first AC tip pretty well. For those wanting to imitate leather or create armor with vinyl.

For our Doctor, Harlequin, etc. cosplayers. Now don’t bother to wear one if the design doesn’t call for it like with the Renegade, Pariah, and Courtesan. It seems like an obvious tip, but I’ve seen many cosplayers break it before.

A note on tip 18: For example, as a Doctor cosplayer I used invisible thread to stitch my mantle and armbands to the robe. And you can’t tell it’s stitched…at all. Also, you can use it on a machine but the thread will snap easily with too much tension so you’ll have to lower it a bit.

Using interfacing is a sewing basic, and you should definitely be familiar with it!
