So I made a tutorial….
For anyone who’s as broke as me. Also, my hand embroidery tutorial goes along with this as well.
While I try not to self insert myself on this blog….these tutorials relate to Assassin’s Creed cosplay and I have used the techniques for my own costumes. So I thought it might be helpful to share on here for those interested in the small details.

For our Doctor, Harlequin, etc. cosplayers. Now don’t bother to wear one if the design doesn’t call for it like with the Renegade, Pariah, and Courtesan. It seems like an obvious tip, but I’ve seen many cosplayers break it before.

Many thanks to blakjanuary for the new font.
A note on tip 18: For example, as a Doctor cosplayer I used invisible thread to stitch my mantle and armbands to the robe. And you can’t tell it’s stitched…at all. Also, you can use it on a machine but the thread will snap easily with too much tension so you’ll have to lower it a bit.

Using interfacing is a sewing basic, and you should definitely be familiar with it!
